Quality Control

Four inspection tiers under AQL international standards — 100% incoming, 70% in-process sampling, 100% final and 100% pre-shipment — holding a 99.8% pass rate across repeat orders.

How we control quality

Inspection is a production step, not a final gate

Quality is our culture, and in practice that means the checks are built into the schedule rather than bolted on at the end. Every order passes a four-tier protocol under AQL international standards: 100% incoming inspection, 70% in-process sampling, 100% final inspection and 100% pre-shipment inspection.

A 16-person QC squad works alongside the production lines, not in a separate department. Inspectors record dimensions, hinge behaviour and surface condition at the bench, so a drift is corrected while the batch is still on the line — the reason repeat orders sustain a 99.8% pass rate.

What gets measured

Frames are checked against the approved sample, not against a general impression: frame width, temple length, bridge and lens-groove dimensions, hinge alignment and cycle behaviour, surface and polishing quality, colour consistency between batch and approved sample, and — where the market requires it — nickel-release and restricted-substance compliance.

Why the record matters as much as the check

Each production run keeps its inspection record: what was sampled, what was measured, what was rejected and what was reworked. When a distributor re-orders six months later, the approved sample and its record are still on file — so the second batch is judged against the same numbers as the first.

Quality Is Our Culture

Material, in-process and finished goods — each with its own check, its own record and its own rejection route.

Impact Test
In-process

Impact Test

Impact-resistant lenses stay intact. Under drop impact testing, the lens surface shows no cracks and remains fully intact, verifying that our eyewear frames protect wearers with safe, durable construction suitable for daily use and active lifestyles.

Fatigue Test
In-process

Fatigue Test

Repeated open-close cycles confirm lasting hinge durability. Our titanium eyeglass frames pass 10,000+ flex cycles with no cracks and no failure, ensuring the hinge joint remains smooth, secure and reliable for years of daily wear by end customers.

Nickel Release Test
In-process

Nickel Release Test

Skin-safe and allergy-friendly. Low nickel release measured under test solution confirms no nickel release on the contact area, passing the skin-safe standard, making our hypoallergenic frames comfortable for customers with sensitive skin.

Corrosion Resistance Test
In-process

Corrosion Resistance Test

Salt-spray testing verifies exceptional corrosion resistance. Frames exposed to salt mist keep the protective oxide layer and finish intact with no corrosion, ensuring long-lasting surface quality for eyewear shipped to coastal and humid markets.

Pressure Test
In-process

Pressure Test

Controlled load testing confirms the frame resists deformation. Under regulated pressure on the bridge, the outer coat, primer and base metal layers remain intact with no deformation, ensuring structural strength and durability for titanium and metal eyewear frames.

Perspiration Test
In-process

Perspiration Test

Perspiration testing confirms a sweat-resistant finish. Frames are held at 37 °C and 95% humidity against artificial perspiration, and the coating stays intact with no discolouration, blistering or tarnish, keeping the surface flawless on frames that sit against skin all day.

What we test, and against what

Dimensional checkFrame width, temple length, bridge and lens-groove dimensions against the approved drawing
HingeAlignment and repeated open/close cycle testing; cycle target is agreed with the customer's standard before release
Surface and finishPolishing quality, scratches, colour consistency against the approved sample, under standard bench lighting
Frame performanceRequirements for spectacle frames — dimensions, stability and mechanical strength (ISO 12870:2016)
Optical / eyewear testingEyewear test methods and lens-related checks for CE files
Nickel releaseNickel-release testing on metal parts in contact with skin (EN 16128)
Restricted substancesRoHS 2015/863 and REACH screening on components and coatings
SamplingApplied under AQL international standards at incoming and in-process stages; the level is fixed per order and shown on the record

From incoming material to the sealed carton

The same four gates on every order, whether it is a 30-piece logo run or a full ODM programme.

Step 1

Incoming material

100% inspection of wire, sheet, injected parts and lenses: gauge, hardness, colour batch and visible condition recorded before release to production.

Step 2

In-process

70% sampling during machining, bending, hinge insertion and polishing; any drift is corrected on the line and the affected pieces are re-checked.

Step 3

Final QC

100% inspection of the finished frame against the approved sample: dimensions, hinge behaviour, surface, colour and logo placement.

Step 4

Packing and shipping

100% pre-shipment check of the packed carton against the order, the documents and the label; only then is the load released.

Quality, measured

The numbers behind the claim

Quality standards are only useful when they are auditable — these are the figures we work to on repeat programmes.
